Connecting an external Ethernet module? Follow the Pico / Pico 2 + W5500-Lite connection guide for GPIO mapping, power and European suppliers.
01 · Hardware and pin mapping
Click a GPIO to configure it. Ethernet pins are reserved. The drawing is illustrative; GPIO numbers come from the board profile.
02 · Pin settings
GP0Configuration check
LoadingChecking the configuration.
03 · Network defaults
UDP EthernetUse a unique IP, MAC and port for each device. Firmware defaults are written to config.h; to reset values previously saved in flash, see the IP configuration guide.
04 · Build options
Temporarily unavailable due to reliability issues.
The firmware and HAL driver share the generated config.h. Build the HAL driver on your LinuxCNC computer.
05 · Configuration and local build
One package. A shared configuration.
The ZIP includes config.h, JSON configuration, build.sh, a HAL connection example, source revision and instructions.
- Download and extract the files.
- On your LinuxCNC computer, run:
bash build.sh --hal - To build the firmware:
bash build.sh --firmware
Your package is generated only from the settings submitted here. The server keeps no shared configuration or download files.
How does the build work?
The script uses a pinned source revision, creates a separate directory for each run and verifies the package. --all builds both components. It does not install dependencies or HAL modules, or flash hardware automatically. Internet access is required for the initial download.
